Salon Education
Flexible Schedules
A minimum of One paid in-salon class a year
Paid time off, and 4 day work week
We are deeply committed to growing with our staff. To support this, we provide at least one paid education experience a year to further your career. In addition to one in-person class, the salon will provide online education to support your growth.
At The Mill Salon, we believe in working a max of 4 days to allow your body to rest and avoid burnout. We have schedules for 2,3 & 4 day work weeks, days must be consecutive. After one year at the salon you will receive a paid week off, after 3 years you will receive 2 paid weeks per year.
Retirement+ Insurance
Must work 25 hours a week to be eligible
In many industries, benefits like insurance and retirement plans are standard, but this is often not the case in the salon industry. We aim to change that by offering our staff both insurance options and a retirement matching plan.
All- Inclusive
No need to worry about ordering products, keeping supplies in stock, buying appliances. At The Mill Salon we provide all of your tools, supplies & equipment. Hairstylist will need to provide their own shears.
Hourly Pay + Bonuses
Pay is reevaluated on a bi-annual schedule
At The Mill Salon, we embrace a performance-based pay structure (hourly sliding scale) that's not only consistent but also limitless. Our approach is collaborative—we'll work with you to meet your income goals. On top of your earnings, you'll have the opportunity to receive tips and retail bonuses. Once you hit certain growth milestones you are eligible for annual bonuses.
