What is a Curly Haircut? Curly Haircuts are specialized cuts designed for wavy, curly, and tightly coiled hair. This cut is customized to your specific curl type and desired shape. This cut is done to enhance the look of the natural curl. The cut is done on the hair in its natural state. We only allow colors to be done on returning clients with curly hair in order to assure that the clients hair is healthy enough to be colored and maintain the best health for the curls.

When a Curly Haircut is Right for you
If you have wavy, curly, or tightly coiled hair and wear your hair in its natural state. If you are someone that has naturally curly hair and wants to restore your curls due to damage. If you are looking for a cut that will enhance your curls. If you are wearing your hair curly at least 90% of the time. Straightening should only be done occasionally.
Coming In For Your Curly Cut
It is VERY IMPORTANT to arrive at your appointment with your hair down, dry, and in it's NATURAL state. NO buns, ponytails, or twist outs. Little to no product is best. Hair should be within 1-3 days of your last wash. Hair should be parted to which ever side you wear it on or down the middle if you alternate parting. If hair is NOT prepped correctly upon arrival you will be asked to reschedule.
During your Appointment
During your appointment I will talk to you about caring for YOUR curls. We will go over what products you should be using and what products you should not to be using. I will also talk you through the wash and styling process so that you will be able to recreate the styling at home.
What Will My Future Appointments Look Like?
Going forward curly cuts will be done 3-6 months apart, some can be done sooner but to maintain the best shape you will want to come between 3-5 months. If you arent wanting to maintain the shape we would not reccomend going past 6 months. Color can be booked after the intitial haircut appt once Lacie can assure your curls health will stay in tact.
